Apple Honey Dumplings with Organic Honey & Cinnamon
- 1 cup butter
- 1 apple
- 1/2 cup water
- 5 tablespoons Organic Honey & Cinnamon
- Some cinnamon
Sift flour into a large bowl. Cut in 1/2 cup butter until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add 1 apple. Whisk together milk, egg and vanilla then add to flour. Mix until soft and sticky then shape into 16 balls. Set aside.
To make the Cinnamon Honey syrup, combine 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup butter, 5 tablespoons Organic Honey & Cinnamon. Stir over low heat.
Working in batches, add dumplings and cook, covered, for 10-12 mins, or until cooked through.
To make caramelised apple, melt remaining butter over high heat. Add sugar and cinnamon. Add remaining apple and sauté for 3-4 mins, until caramelised.
Serve with dumplings and Organic Honey & Cinnamon syrup, topped with half-and-half.
