Cinnamon Raisin Honey Bread
Cinnamon Raisin Honey Bread with Organic Honey & Cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoons Organic Honey & Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup walnuts chopped
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a loaf pan. Cream butter and sugar until blended. Add eggs one at a time and beat until fluffy. Blend in Organic Honey & Cinnamon and buttermilk.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt until combined and fluffy. Add dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Stir in raisins and nuts. Spoon into loaf pan.
Bake for 1 hour until toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes then turn onto cooling rack to cool completely.
