Germany / Belgium / Netherlands

Although eggnog’s origin of country is Britain, Eierlikör is the German egg liqueur like eggnog, except much creamier and thicker. It is not only consumed in Germany but also in the Netherlands, and sometimes it is too concentrated that that people have to use a spoon instead of sipping it like a normal drink.

It is a rich blend of the selected finest Acacia honey, egg yolks, with secret aromatic spirits and spices.

In Germany, Eierlikör has a unique origin as although it is considered Germany, evidence proves that it might be a cross-border influence by Belgium and / or Netherlands.

Egg liqueur is a traditional German alcoholic beverage made from eggs, sugar and brandy.

Egg liqueur also called Eggnog is traditionally consumed in Christmas every year in countries such as Canada and US.

In the 13th century, eggnog is an expensive and wealthy drink since ingredients like milk, eggs and sherry are expensive at that time.
