Our raw and unfiltered Organic German Acacia Honey hails from the unique natural beauty of the March of Brandenburg with lavish naturally grown acacia forest areas.
Acacia honey looks tender golden yellow and has a very delicate, mild and fruity-floral flavour which still bears the scent of acacia flowers with slight hints of vanilla.
Since Acacia honey dissolves easily, it is an excellent sweetener for tea and other drinks, it is also a super choice for fruit salads, vegetables, bread and serves exquisitely with blue cheeses. Its pleasant aroma is loved by children and useful in their diet as it increases appetite and quickly replenishes lost energy.
Brandenburg offers a unique natural beauty with more than 3,000 crystal-clear lakes and 30,000 kilometres of rivers. Approximately 50% of the area is forested with beeches, sessile oaks, pines and acacia trees.
Each year at the end of May, the gnarled acacia trees are covered with lush white flower clusters, which created a big feast for our happy bees. The whole forest is buzzing as our busy bees collect the sweet nectar which then creates our superior and subtle Hexapi Acacia Honey Dream.

Originally, acacia, also called “false acacia” or botanically as “Robinia pseudoacacia” originated from North America and was introduced in Germany in 1670 and planted in local castle gardens and parks.
Hexapi Organic German Acacia Honey has a remarkable purity and clarity and a high fructose to glucose ratio and therefore will not crystalize for years from the harvesting moment. It is one of the most famous and sweetest types of honey, because of the delicate flavour that still bears the smell and the scent of acacia flowers.
The honey originates from naturally grown, unplanted and untreated acacia trees in protected forest areas which give less nectar than honey from commercial acacia plantations whose canopies are much bigger, so they receive more sun to produce flowers.
Furthermore, since German acacia trees bloom in May when bee populations are still underdeveloped, our bees cannot entirely use its nectar even though they are so busy with the acacia flowers that they have no time taking nectar from other plants.
Therefore, real natural German Organic Acacia Honey is rare!
Annual seasonal and biologic factors make it impossible to reproduce our Organic Acacia Honey the same from year to year so slight variations in color and taste may occur – making it a truly enjoyable natural and pure honey.
